Underwater Archaeology

I haven't painted for a while so I thought it was about time I did another.

This species have a fascination with categorising things they find and are just generally very curious. He's supposed to be underwater but I don't think I pulled that illusion off very well. Maybe I should play around more with composition and perspective...
